Suzanne Joyner

Suzanne Joyner is the studio Dir/Mgr., and has been running our studio since 1985.

   Her dancing career began at the age of seven, with Ballet, Jazz, Acrobatics and Tap. She is experienced in both American and International styles, competitive and social levels. Her training has taken her students to the top placements in competitions throughout the United States.

Robert Joyner

Robert has earned many awards in competitions through-out the USA. He danced Pro/Am with his mother Suzanne, taking all first in each level of dance, standard and latin, and also danced with two Amateur partners with whom he won ten dance championships in the United States against 58 or more couples. Robert teaches all levels in the International style of dance, is a competitive teacher, and travels to many dance competitions through-out the USA with his students. Robert's students have pulled many first, second and third places last year, if you want to compete, come to see Robert !!.........He also teaches the social and competitive American Style...........

 

Bob Miya

Bob has been teaching Ballroom Dance since 1962. He has performed with the University of Utah Ballet Co. and the San Diego Jazz Dance Co.

Bob has a great personality and all his students will tell you how much fun his lessons are. He teaches all forms of dance.

Julio DeJesus

Julio started dancing while attending Rutgers University, where as an amateur competitor he won over 90 awards and served as Vice President and Team Captain of the dance club. His love for competition led him to Virginia where he found a professional partner and together they were finalist in several competitions. Julio is an associate of the North American Dance Teacher Association and an American Style Adjudicator for the National Dance Council of America.

 

Betty Neal

Betty has been a teacher here at Doug High Studio for over 25 years also. She started dancing as a student, and enjoyed it so much, that she decided to teach others of her love of music and dance.
